Janet Green Art
Welcome to Janet Green's Art, where teaching and creativity go together to enable and improve the abilities of students of all ages. From her studio and art classes in Sugar Land, TX, in Fort Bend County, she enables and assists from beginners to professionals to increase their talents and art and jewelry work product. Janet has the rare and unique ability to enhance learning skills and techniques for all levels at all ages. She has students from 5 to 87 years old, all learning, mastering and enjoying new skills.
The paintings above show a variety of composition, design and new painting techniques and styles. Janet has several 1st place award winning works of art, most recently several first places for her and her students at judged events in Sugar Land with different art leagues.
She won Best of Show 2007 at Sugar Land Area Artists Open Spring Show, Best Professional Artist, Best Sculpture/Jewelry Artist at various Sugar Land Area Artists Open Shows. Her works have gone on to win First Place at the Lone Star Art League Convention, a competition of all winning works of the previous year.
Her work is also in private collections in both Wales and England in the UK, Canada, China, and private collections throughout the United States.
Some of Janet's students have adapted the designs and techniques with her teaching help to create self portraits of themselves and their spouses and other individual areas of interest. The students find their talent for self expression and develop and refine their unique abilities. Many have won best of show and other top awards in Texas and the greater Houston area.
In the children's art classes, personalized instruction and fundamentals lead to rapid progress and accomplishments, building from beginning skills.
